Out For a Long Time
The Denver Bronco's left tackler, Ryan Clady, won't be able to play for 3-4 months. After playing basketball, he tore the patella tendon in his knee. Three days later he had to have surgery. The patella tendon is very important to a football player especially a tackler. When you are going to tackle someone you must put all your weight on your leg to get some sort of stability. By his tendon being torn he needs to give it rest and therapy so he will be able during the regular season if he will even be able by then to play. It is said that he will miss the preseason. His family and friends and especially his teammates are hoping that he will be recovered by then.
Penn Relays
Usain Bolt has once again took the attention as he zoomed pass everyone on the final leg of the 4 x 100 during the Penn Relays. The crowd was full of black, green, and yellow. Jamaican fans everywhere filled up Philadeplhia streets and seats to see as lightning struck across the track feild to get first place. That's exactly what Bolt did indeed. This was the first competition for him in 2010 and it looks like he has a good start. Ivory Williams of USA Blue was on the final leg against Usain Bolt. He said "I ran a real good fourth leg, but I couldn't pass him up [Bolt]. I don't care if it's Usain Bolt or not, I'm trying to win. When they're cheering for Usain Bolt, I feel like they're cheering for me. I knew I wasn't going to be able to pass him up, but I was trying. I think we really can beat these guys." I guess fans will just have to keep on waiting for the day when someone beats Bolt.

Real Article #5: McNabb to Rams?
Rumors have been going around that McNabb might be leaving the Eagles to one of the three teams that want him —Oakland Radiers, Arizona Cardinals, or Buffalo Bills. Trading to the Rams rumors have came to an end when the St. Louis Rams coach, Steve Spagnuolo, said that those rumors were incorrect. Rumors about the other three teams seem to be true. Oakland Raiders team owner Al Davis says that if he puts McNabb in a new situation such as a team as the Raiders, that great things will happen! McNabb only has a year let with the Eagles on his contract. That is part of the reason why the Cardinals and Bills have been talking to the Philadelphia Eagles. Real Article #4: Driving in bad conditions.
Former major league baseball player, Dwight Gooden, was arrested recently. Supposibly he was driving with his 5 year old son and was taking him to school. There was a car crash but all involved were fine. The problem was he left the scene and at that caused the accident and had drugs in his car! He was charged reckless driving and was also charged with driving while intoxicated with a child passenger and the endangerment and welfare of a child. Gooden has had problems with drugs before. He's been in rehad 5 times before due to problems with cocaine and alcohol back in 1996. In January, the Mets announced that they were inducting Gooden into their hall of fame. There is no word whether or not they are going to take him out due to his arrest.
Real Article #3: Sitting out for a while ?
NBA Denver Nuggets coach, George Karl, might be sitting out for the rest of the season due to an unfortunate disease of throat and neck cancer. This isn't the first time Karl has been diagnosed with the disease. He's a proud surviver of prostate cancer which he overcame a few years ago. Right now he is doing radiation and chemotherapy treatment. His girlfriend, Kim Van Deraa, wrote on one of her blogs that he was rushed to a hospital and stayed there for a week! The cause of it was blood clots in the lungs and legs. He was given a procedure where a filter was put in his stomache so it would catch any blood clots before it catches his life. Adrian Dantley has been serving as a head coach for the time being and the 8 games George Karl was not able to coach. The good news is that the blood clots are gone and he is recovering from the procedure. He does not know whether or not if he will be able to return to the basketball court and coach again for this season. His doctors do not know if they are going to give him another dose of medicine that would delay him from going back.
